Blocking the blogs

The move by the department of Telecommunication to block websites and blogs apparently to prevent the circulation of material that was against national security is undemocratic. The blogs abruptly curbed the freedom of expression of the common internet user. In fact they have least impact as a majority of Indians do not even have access to the internet. Even the law is not defined clearly. A comprehensive set of rules should be evolved before such action is taken. Banning a few blogs after a major terrorist attack in any case, make no sense. It seems to be a eyewash, leaving behind the root for these activities.
