Free, free :-} / :-{

In the context of recent trend in Tamil nadu politics “the freebies” .I was amazed to watch the announcements made by the political parties ,as the elections dates were nearing ,each of them were very busy announcing the list of things offered by their parties if elected .It included computers to TVs, one thing the list was attractive. I was amazed, where the money for all this comes from, definitely from the government’s fund not from the leaders pocket right, the fund which is raised by taxes. Well is this a good practice? This is an act of misuse of the governments fund for the benefit of the political parties well this trend should be checked out, should not be encouraged. I appreciate the effort take by NDTV which conducted debates over this issue, it should not be stopped at this level, and other Medias should take effort to alert the public over this. The funds used for providing the freebies can be utilized to provide employment to several unemployed, which would give a permanent pleasure, rather than providing a temporary pleasure by giving things free. Can be used to improve the infrastructure of the state ,doing so would attract MNC’s to invest in the state, there by providing employment to millions. Once he is employed he would be in apposition to get things he deserves. The political parties should attract the people by offering things which would definitely benefit people. I was attracted by the manifesto of lok parithran which clearly stated “we will not provide any thing free, but make sure u get things which u deserve “ . Virtually nothing is free….That’s the fact.
Hope the trend changes.
