What’s the price tomorrow?

It was 23 when I was 5, 35 when I was 15, now 54 ……I am not talking about my weight, it is the price of petrol. Many might not consider it as an issue as it becomes most essential in their busy life style. But this is a major issue which needs to be optimized immediately. Fuel price hike virtually affects the entire economy of the country; it adds up to the cost of virtually every commodity from pencil to computer, affecting every class of people .Well its not a thing which can be avoided as it drives our transport means, so we can not avoid this as on today at the same time its crossing limits .Here we need to optimize .Here are some of my suggestions towards achieving the target. The taxes laid on petroleum products should be optimized considering the economical benefits to the country. Importance should be given to public transport, funds should be provided to improve railways, metro rails, and bus transport services .Doing so would reduce the fuel consumption per head. This would certainly reduce the no of vehicles on road there by reducing pollution, traffic, accidents and so on. These services should satisfy all class of people in terms of comfort, time and cost. Researches on alternative fuel should be encouraged. Use of cycles should be promoted, the benefits of cycling should be advertised and make it as a trend, and popularize, at least the higher secondary students should be made to use cycles. Laws should be coined over possessions of vehicles as in china. Electric vehicles and alternative fuel vehicles should be encouraged and subsidized. The political parties should not make it a issue for their benefits, both ruling and opposition parties should analyze the depth of the issue and provide a solution for benefit of the public Government’s policy towards the automotive sector should be revised, doing so the fuel prices could be optimized…..I am not sure that the prices can be reduced but can be prevented from future hike…….will this happen?
